This recording is the result of a meeting of four people: the Maharaja of Mysore, the English producer Walter Legge, his wife, the German soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, and the composer Nikolai Medtner.

We will understand how these recordings were imagined, financed and realized at the initiative of a Maharaja living on the other side of the world.
